About Us

Good Wrist didn’t appear out of nowhere. It grew out of a community that has been around watches for decades.

It starts in 1992, when Subodh Shrestha opened a tiny shop in Mahaboudha called Variety Watch Center. Rent was 700 rupees. The tools were basic. But people came because he did honest work. He fixed everything from Seiko and Rado to Favre Leuba and Rolex. His skill was good enough that Seiko offered him a proper job, but he turned it down because he wanted to build on his own terms.

When a partnership in Mahaboudha fell apart, he started fresh in Baneshwor and built Royal Time Center. Over the years, customers from all over Nepal carried bags of watches to his counter because they trusted him. Not because of advertising or branding, but because his work spoke for itself.

That trust didn’t stay with one person. It passed on. The space became a meeting point for watch lovers, repeat customers, first time buyers, and people who were simply curious. Over time, a small circle of enthusiasts, collectors, technicians and everyday wearers formed around the shop. That circle kept growing.

Good Wrist is a continuation of that community. Not just Subodh. Not just his son. Not one single person. It is the combined experience of watchmakers, collectors, buyers, sellers and supporters who want a safe, honest and transparent place to buy and sell watches in Nepal.

Every listing, every sale and every step of the process is backed by this group. By people who care about good watches and fair dealing. By the trust built over three generations of work. By enthusiasts who want the culture to grow here.

Good Wrist exists because of that community. It is built on the same values that started in a small Mahaboudha shop in 1992: do good work, be honest with people and let trust do the talking.
